“Power” Season 3 episode 2 will test the friendship of James and Tommy, as the latter prepares to kill his best friend for business. A preview video of the next episode teases the two characters meeting.

[Spoiler alert]

Lobos (Enrique Murciano) continues to be a problem for James (Omari Hardwick). A trailer of the next episode posted on YouTube shows a concerned James answering questions about the attempted murder of the jefe. Ghost has found out that the attempt on his enemy’s life has failed and he is now a target.

Ghost has decided to leave the drug business to focus on the night club, much to the disappointment of his best friend Tommy (Joseph Sikora). James will now send his estranged wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton) over to Tommy to smooth things over.

While Tommy agrees to meet with James, he has a different purpose in mind. He promises to kill his best friend at the meeting and a scene of the meeting shows him pointing his gun at Ghost.

Will Tommy kill Ghost in “Power” Season 3 episode 2? In an interview with TV Line, Sikora said that his character “could pull the trigger” on his best friend. He, however, concedes that it would take “Herculean strength” for his character to commit this particular murder.

The actor pointed out that his character has “extreme love and loyalty to Ghost.” But, he will have to overcome his “appreciation, admiration and respect” for James in order to focus on his drug distribution.

Sikora explained that his character is actually “simple” and “not stupid.” He explained that Tommy is not a tactician, the way James is. However, he also added that it was his character that established the drug connections and he is already in a leadership position. But, he needs to have a leadership “mentality” and confidence in order to now step up.

Will Tommy emerge as a leader in “Power” Season 3 episode 2 by killing his friend? Or will his sense of loyalty stop him from pulling the trigger?
