OnePlus X is one of the most anticipated smartphons today. It’s a very affordable mid-range phone priced at around $348, yet it boasts of a sleek, premium design and is packed with impressive features.

The OnePlus X was the subject of multiple leaks in recent months and it would seem the tipsters were pretty much on-point.

The OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 were marketed as "flagship killers" as soon as they made their way into the tech market. Unlike these phones, OnePlus X is aimed at dominating the mid-range segment of the smartphone market, according to Tech Times.

It might not be considered a flagship device for OnePlus, but it’s in very high demand. OnePlus X is basically a mid-range handset disguised as a high-end smartphone. Its overall design gives the model a premium appeal.

Being a mid-range phone, the OnePlus X isn’t expected to make waves in the high-end market where rival devices flaunt state-of-the-art specs. It must be noted, however, that OnePlus X absolutely stands out in a crowd of mid-range smartphone models, primarily because of its modern look and high quality design.

OnePlus X comes in two different variants, the Onyx and the Ceramic, both of which flash stylish designs. The former features a back plate made of dark glass Onyx and a mirror finish with a metal bezel that has rounded edges. The latter features a zirconia-crafted back plate and beveled edges.

"Our latest product cultivates a new level of craftsmanship and artisanal luxury in smartphone design - simply gorgeous and exquisitely striking," said OnePlus. "The OnePlus X is as elegant as it is powerful!"

OnePlus X boasts of a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with a 1,080 resolution, great viewing angles, as well as Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
