With Nokia set to release their freshest Asha line called the Nokia Asha 500, 502 and 503, many are noticing how much it looks similar with the colourful yet tight budgeted iPhone 5c. Others are also observing that the smartphones are meant to be quite similar to each other since their names all have the number 5, too.

The Nokia Asha 502 and 503 will be launched by the fourth quarter of 2013, while the Nokia Asha 500 is set for next year's fourth quarter. Aside from the fact that the Nokia Asha phones are as appealing to the youth as the colourful iPhone 5c, here are other aspects that we can use to compare the phones.

Nokia Asha 500, 502 and 503 Specs

All three Nokia phones come in bright colours of cyan, green, red and yellow. They have a rectangle shape and sharp edges. Their casings appear like the effect is that the phone is frozen in ice. They may be quite thick, but they are very convenient to carry. Plus you can access and use it even with just one hand. The Nokia Asha 500 has a 2.8-inch display, while the Nokia Asha 502 and 503 both have a 3-inch touchscreen.

All three handsets come with Nokia Asha's 1.0 OS. It also has the Nokia Xpress Internet Browser, but it does not support Flash. Other features include Bluetooth 3.0 and free games that reach up to 10 from the app store of Nokia. Cameras for the three Nokia Ashas are as follows: 2 MP for the 500 and 5 MP for the 502 and 503.

iPhone 5c Specs

Of course, after all the featured articles that have spread online with regards to the new iPhone 5s and 5c, it is known to everyone how the 5c is more affordable than the 5s and it has different colours for its casings, too. It also has the fast A7 chip processor, plus the modern fingerprint touch scanner.

Verdict?

Between the Nokia Asha 500, 502, 503 vs iPhone 5c, it is no doubt that the iPhone 5c remains a winner in many features and specs. But if you are truly running tight on budget, then any of the Nokia Asha phones will surely do. All these phones though from both tech companies are perfect to be used for the new generation users.
