Google Nexus 4 is currently a well-liked Android smart phone because of its quality features, specifications and low pricing scheme while technology giant Samsung is determined to make 2013 the year of an impressive "phablet" with the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. With that, an epic battle is now arising between a smart phone and a phablet.

Samsung may have released numerous smart phones but the South Korean company is hoping that a phablet's software instead of the hardware offers a convincing purchasing dispute against a smart phone like Google Nexus 4.

The Nexus 4 is powered with the quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 320 GPU, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and 2GB of RAM. The smart phone's IPS LCD screen display is at a practically competitive size at 4.7 inches with 1280x768p resolution and 318ppi pixel density.

An 8MP camera with back-illuminated sensor (BSI) and LED flash has the capability of capturing 1080p video and high quality images that can be proudly shared on the social networking sites. Nexus 4 does not have a microSD card slot to expand the available internal storage capacities of 8GB and 16GB.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is currently Samsung's largest device created. It features a 6.3-inch display designed to offer the users with an excellent multimedia experience in watching videos or playing games.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has an LCD screen display with 1280x720p resolution that provides superior quality images that are sharp and colorful. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 may not be powered with a quad-core processor but it has the Cortex-A15 based dual-core Exynos 5250 clocked at 1.7GHz with a 1.5GB of RAM, a Mali-T604 GPU and 3200mAh battery unit.

The camera is set up at 8MP with BSI, LED flash and HDR mode capable of producing quality images and videos at 1080p resolution. Internal storage capacities are similar with the Google Nexus 4 at 8GB and 16GB but the Galaxy Mega 6.3 has the microSD card slot that can expand memory storage up to 64GB.
