The producers of “Jurassic World” have revealed the genetic material used for the creation of the hybrid dinosaur Indominus Rex. The meaning of the new name has been revealed to be “fierce or untamable.” Fans of the franchise had a glimpse of the new dinosaur in the trailer of the movie. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The trailer of “Jurassic World” showed that the scientists of the park have come up with a new hybrid dinosaur, as per the wishes of the management, as a new attraction to attract visitors. The official website of the movie has now revealed details about the physical appearance of the dinosaur as well as a genetic material used for its creation.

The Indominus Rex may appear to closely resemble the popular dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex, but the dinosaur is actually a new version of Theropods that is also known as Abelisaurs. The Abelisaurs also has a similar look to the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The new dinosaur is said to have distinctive features such as the “head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms.”

The producers of “Jurassic World” have revealed that the genetic material of Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus have been used for the creation of the new Indominus Rex. The new dinosaur is set to feature horns above the eye orbit, and its osteoderm (a bony plate in the skin) may make the appearance of the dinosaur’s skin like that of a crocodile.

The Indominus Rex is said to be around 39 feet long. The roar of the new dinosaur is set to reach 140 to 160 db, which is said to be the same as the sound a 747 aeroplane makes while taking off or landing. The dinosaur is said to be capable of a maximum speed of 50 km/h when it is in its enclosure.

The producers of “Jurassic World” have dared the readers to visit the park and experience the Indominus Rex this summer. A shadow sketch of the dinosaur on the official website shows the horns on the head and the distinctive-looking hands, among other physical attributes of the hybrid dinosaur. The trailer of the movie shows the dinosaur running loose in the park and attacking some of its visitors.
