Huawei's Nexus 6P is a beautiful beast; here's why
It's elegant and comes with an impressive build quality

Google’s newest flagship Nexus device with its latest Android version on board is certainly the talk of the town. The company has incorporated many features to deal with the issues users complained about in previous Nexus devices.
The search giant partnered with Huawei for the first time to manufacture its latest Android-based flagship, the Nexus 6P. The premium smartphone comes packed with high-end specs and, of course, a higher price tag.
The Nexus 6P is elegant and comes with an impressive build quality, according to Android Police. The device is narrower than its earlier iteration and delivers surprisingly good camera performance. The camera bulge isn’t awkward and is covered in tinted glass to hold the main camera.
The 12 MP camera at the back features an f/2.0 aperture and IR laser-assisted autofocus and LED flash. The Nexus 6P is also capable of Smartbust shooting and touts EIS (electronic image stabilization), said a report in Slash Gear.
There is a tiny microphone under the camera hump that can be used to eliminate or reduce surrounding noise during a phone call or for audio recording while capturing a video.
The high-end phone is powered by a faster processor and houses more memory. Run by a Snapdragon 810 processor, the Nexus 6P comes in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage options with 3 GB of RAM.
The all-metal 5.7-inch phablet with WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440) come packed with two front facing stereo speakers. A thin side bezel gives the phone a width of only 7.7 mm, said Android Central.
The device features a USB Type-C port with reversible charging facility. Other than this, all the software features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow like Android Pay and Now on Tap further enhance the performance of the device.
Moreover, “Nexus Imprint,” Google’s new brand name for its fingerprint scanner, makes use of OneTouch FPC1025 fingerprint sensor that’s considered one of the best in the market. The Doze feature further increases the battery life. The smartphone houses a 3450 mAh battery and with its Fast Charging feature can be charged up to 7 hours in just 10 minutes
The overwhelming demand for the Nexus 6P has prompted Huawei to commence pre-orders for the top model with 128 GB internal storage on its online store. This version of the Nexus 6P has gone out of stock on Google Store.
At the 6P’s launch, Google Store started pre-orders in select countries, including the U.S., the U.K., Ireland and Japan. But now, users can also pre-order the Google Nexus device from the Australian Google Store.
