Fans of “How to Get Away with Murder” ("HTGAWM") will get to know new character Philip Boden (Jefferson White) in the eighth episode of Season 2. The synopsis and promo video of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 episode 8, titled “Hi, I’m Philip,” teases Annalise Keating’s (Viola Davis) shooter and the Hapstall siblings. It also shows that the new and mysterious "HTGAWM" character will be causing panic. [Spoiler Alert!]

The synopsis of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 episode 8 in a Carter Matt report reveals Philip will make a threatening move starting with Oliver Hampton (Conrad Ricamora) as his target. In the promo video, Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) is worried that his boyfriend may be dead, even though Oliver has only been missing for an hour. He argues that it only takes a second to kill someone.

In the sixth episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2, the Keating Five found out through Oliver’s help that Philip has a connection as well as motive to the Hapstall murder case they are working on. Meanwhile, the episode 8 synopsis teases that Caleb (Kendrick Sampson) and Catherine Hapstall (Amy Okuda) will appear again in the new episode, and the siblings will be forced to make a decision that can change their lives.

The new episode’s synopsis further teases the escalating conflict between A.D.A. Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) and Annalise Keating. In the next “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 episode, A.D.A. Sinclair may have found a way to take down Annalise.

The promo video of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 episode 8 also teases that the viewers are getting closer to finding out who shot Annalise in the Hapstall mansion in the show’s flashforward scenes. At this point, the "HTGAWM" characters are all suspects since they were at the Hapstall mansion the night Annalise got shot and A.D.A. Sinclair died.

Another storyline that the "HTGAWM" fans can look forward to in the upcoming episodes is the connection between Annalise Keating and Keating Five member Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch). Series creator Peter Nowalk admitted in an interview with TV Line that the Annalise-Wes relationship is one of the questions that he gets asked the most. Nowalk promised that the show will give "HTGAWM" fans an answer to the burning question on the Annalise-Wes connection soon.

“How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2 will return with episode 8, titled “Hi, I’m Philip,” on Thursday night, Nov. 12, at 10/9c on ABC.
