"Hogwarts Legacy" is now available to download for free on the Epic Games Store, courtesy of Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games.

This is a massive treat for all "Harry Potter" fans worldwide as everyone is eligible to download a copy of the action RPG title based on the Wizarding World for Windows PCs.

'Hogwarts Legacy' Is Free on the Epic Games Store

According to ComicBook Gaming, the open-world action RPG from Warner Bros. is absolutely free to download and keep on the Epic Games Store for life.

In 2023, Warner Bros. released a prequel game set more than 100 years before the events of the "Harry Potter" books, predating the Boy Who Lived and all who were part of the story. The action RPG game immediately garnered a notable 84 score on Metacritic and became the best-selling game of the year.

The freebie from Avalanche and WB Games dropped amidst the rumors on their development of the sequel game that would reportedly follow soon, as well as the upcoming premiere of the HBO Max series adaptation of the "Harry Potter" novels later this year.

Next, look for the game "Hogwarts Legacy" via the search field of the website, or follow this link to take you directly to the game's listing.

Users only need to click or tap on the "Get" button and wait for the confirmation to complete the process. For users who are not using a Windows PC device, they may come across a notice saying that their device is not supported, but users may ignore it and click on "Continue" to finish the process and add it to their library.
