It seems as if Chris Hemsworth really has a flair for adrenaline-pumping films. The trailer for his upcoming film Rush has been released and it is fast, furious and terrifically fun.

Rush revolves around the world of Formula One, particularly the strong rivalry of two amazingly talented racers James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl). As the trailer shows, Lauda suffers from a horrific accident on the tracks and comes back to the scene to face off with his rival once more.

The storyline is based on the real-life racing personalities James Hunt and Niki Lauda. The exploits of the two European racers are well-known among enthusiasts of the sport, especially their close competition driving against each other in numerous occasions.

The rest of the trailer hints at a few interesting sub stories, but there's no doubt racing is at the heart of Rush with the voiceover intoning, "It's a wonderful way to live, it's the only way to drive."

There are implications of the danger behind the sport as the beginning of the trailer speaks of racers not expecting their own death to come at their beloved tracks. As the sneak peek comes to a close, the narrator both underlines the danger and exalts it saying, "The closer you are to death, the more alive you feel."

Directed by Academy Award winner Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Cocoon, Apollo 13), the film promises to deliver endless thrill and excitement. The duo of Hemsworth and Brühl is backed up with other talented cast members including Olivia Wilde, Alexandra Maria Lara, Natalie Dormer, and Christian McKay.

Rush is set to be shown in theaters on September 2013.
