The German international, who came through the ranks at the Borussia-Park, is one of the most promising shot-stoppers in the world, putting in display tons of fantastic reflex-saves in the Bundesliga for the Foals.

He has been handed four caps by the Germany senior's squad, while being named in Joachim Low's World Cup lineup.

The 22-year-old will be Barca's number 1 following Victor Valdes' departure, while reserve Jose Pinto will remain to serve as his back-up.
