Last year something unprecedented happened; the Ultimate Warrior was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. After years of battles and arguments, Warrior and the WWE finally put their differences aside and let bygones be bygones. Sadly, Warrior died two days after the hall of fame induction. Now to celebrate the life and career of Ultimate Warrior as well as pay tribute to last night’s inductee Randy Savage, 2K has announced the release date of the “Path of the Warrior” DLC for "WWE 2K15.”

The “Path of the Warrior” DLC was originally announced by WWE along with the other downloadable content. This will be the last of the downloadable showcase stories that will be released; the other two being “One More Match,” which followed the rivalry between Christian and Randy Orton, and “Hall of Pain,” which focused on Mark Henry’s dominance of the Smackdown brand in 2011.

After much anticipation by fans, the release date for “Path of the Warrior” was shown at the end of a YouTube video that the WWE Games Twitter shared. The video in question showcases Randy Savage, as the late wrestler was inducted to the 2015 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

While the previous “WWE 2K15” DLC focused on the present and future of WWE, sans the WCW pack, “Path of the Warrior” will take a look back at the great career of the Ultimate Warrior. As fans play through his career, they will be able to unlock some of the legends that Warrior faced like classic Hulk Hogan, the Honky Tonk Man, Sgt. Slaughter and the aforementioned Randy Savage in his “Macho King” attire.

Along with these legends, “Path of the Warrior” will also have past iterations of the Undertaker and Triple H, when he was still known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The upcoming DLC pack will also come with eight new arenas, including WrestleMania 6, where he won the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan and the 1988 SummerSlam, where he ended the Honky Tonk Man’s year-long reign as Intercontinental Champion.

“Path of the Warrior” will be available on March 31 for $9.99, purchased separately. Fans who bought the “WWE 2K15” season pass for $24.99 will have instant access to the DLC pack, along with the other downloadable showcase stories.
