Chris Hemsworth's experience with prison inmates has not been a good one as the Australian actor once got “heckled” by the inmates. The actor once went into a prison to research for his role in the movie, “Blackhat” but all the inmates recognised the actor, despite his pony tail.

“I had a ponytail and long blonde hair and I had a hat on,” he said on “The Graham Norton Show,” according to Time. When he was asked to remove his hat by the jail authorities, the “Thor” actor assumed that the inmates still wouldn’t know his identity. But he was wrong as the jail inmates not only recognised him but also teased him.

“The moment I started walking through the cells, I just start getting heckled,” he said. “‘YO THOR’S HERE! Where’s your hammer, man? Come spend some time in my cell, baby!'”

The 32-year-old actor, who was also been recognised as 2014's People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, recently broke the Internet when he posted a shirtless video of him on Instagram. “Go big or go home. Skate or die. Huge risk! Yeoooow...,” he wrote, adding the hashtags “#Xgames #extreme” and “#lifeontheline”,” while captioning the video, where he showed off his skateboarding skills—without a shirt.

The video has got more than 89.5K likes and praiseworthy comments. “Is it bad that I kept this on replay for more than 3 minutes,” said one fan while the other wrote, “God bless Australia am I right.”

The elder brother of actor Liam Hemsworth has previously said he went on an extreme diet to lose huge amount of weight for his role as a sailor stranded at sea in new movie “In The Heart Of The Sea.”

“Just tried a new diet/training program called 'Lost at Sea',” he wrote on Twitter, adding that he would not recommend the diet to anyone.
