Chelsea FC will look to make it four wins back to back away to Stoke City FC after they suffered a shock defeat at home earlier in the month at the hands of Newcastle United FC. This match will start at the Britannia Stadium from 8 pm local time on Monday.

After 16 matches Stoke City FC are on 21 points which puts them at the 12th position on the league table. They have won five matches, drawn four and lost seven. In their last five matches they have lost three and drawn one. In the other match they beat a much fancied Arsenal FC at home with a three two score line. Peter Crouch and Jonathan Walters have top scored for Stoke City FC at the league with four goals each.

Chelsea FC have been the yardstick in the Barclays Premier League this season. They have won 12 of their 16 matches. Other than the shock defeat to Newcastle United FC they have been held in three other matches against the defending champions Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC and Sunderland FC all three away from home. In eight away matches Chelsea FC have won four, drawn three and lost the other. In the last five matches across all competitions they have won four and lost the other. Injured first choice goal keeper Thibaut Courtois is expected to shake off his groin/pelvis injury and be back for this match.

In the last 10 matches between these two sides Stoke City FC have won one match, drawn two and lost the other seven. At home their record is slightly better where they have won one, drawn two and lost the other two matches. What should give Stoke City FC manager Mark Hughes comfort is the fact that his team won the last corresponding fixture with a three two score line. Jose Mourihno will bank upon his very successful duo of striker Diego Costa and midfielder Cesc Fabregas to provide the fire power to down Stoke City FC.
