Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has just celebrated its 20th anniversary with an action-packed event on Nov 16, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It has featured the UFC Welterweight Championship fight between defending champion Georges St. Pierre (GSP) and his number 1 challenger Johny Hendricks, which GSP had won. It has also featured a light-heavyweight bout between Rashad Evans and Chael Sonnen. It was Sonnen's 44th match in his entire UFC career. Evans won via technical knockout just on the first round. Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley were also declared winners in each of their welterweight bouts against Rory McDonald and Josh Koscheck, respectively. Ali Bagautinov had also won against Tim Elliot via unanimous decision.

Indeed, UFC 167 was an event that many UFC fans would not really miss to watch. Celebrities, for one, made sure that they will be in attendance to watch the said mixed martial arts event.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted enjoying the show. "I think, this is quite an accomplishment because there were a lot of skeptics in the beginning and said they would never make it," Arnold said when he was stopped for an interview after the event. "UFC has done an extraordinary job, not only in America, but worldwide and this is what sports is all about, it is always to reach everybody worldwide," he said. "The fights are extraordinary, I think the way their rules work, they make it very exciting, that is why so many people are watching it, UFC is probably the most popular sports there is, right now," Arnold said.

It appears that Schwarzenegger is truly a UFC fanatic. "Even though I don't go and see it live, I see every one of the fights on television at home, so it is really great to be here live," he said.

Some of the notable celebrities who watched the event live include UFC Hall of Fame members Dan Severn and Royce Gracie. Anthony Pettis, who is currently suffering an injury, was seen too. Chris Weidman and Matt Hughes were also present at the event. Boston Red Sox star Shane Victorino was also there.
