A huge action sequence is reportedly going to happen in “Captain America: Civil War.” A massive destruction will occur that will lead to the deaths of many civilians, and it would apparently be Captain America and Scarlet Witch's fault. [Spoiler Alert!]

Heroic Hollywood claims the devastating event will happen during Captain America (Chris Evans) and Scarlet Witch’s (Elizabeth Olsen) fight against Crossbones (Frank Grillo). Brock Rumlow aka Crossbones will reportedly wear a vest packed with deadly explosives when they try to take him down.

The tragedy supposedly happens during the heroes’ attempt to save the civilians and apprehend the villain. Captain America orders Scarlet Witch to levitate Crossbones off the ground. However, Scarlet is unsuccessful in containing the explosives and it detonates.

Heroic Hollywood claims that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this tragedy is called the "The Sokovia Accords.” The post-credits scene in “Ant-Man” reportedly referenced this incident when Captain America said Iron Man might not be able to help him and Falcon find Bucky because of “The Accords.” That scene in “Ant-Man” where a passenger is reading a newspaper with the headline “Who's To Blame For Sokovia?" is said to be referencing the “Civil War” destruction as well.

The massive destruction in “Captain America: Civil War” is said to be the “international incident” referenced in the official synopsis of the film released by Marvel. It also harks back to the comic version of the story, according to Heroic Hollywood. In the comics, the heroes attempt to apprehend a supervillain to save mankind. However, the Avengers contributed to the death of more than 600 civilians instead, which in turn prompted the government to open the Superhero Registration Act.

Comic Book Movie previously shared some photos and footage taken from the set of “Captain America: Civil War” in Atlanta. Four of the clips show Cap battling it out with Crossbones, which the site described as an “epic battle” between two enemies. Scarlet Witch was also spotted on the set of the film.

Grillo once said during a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly that his character will be very different and dangerous in “Captain America: Civil War.” He said that what fans saw of Crossbones in “Winter Soldier” is only a “taste of what’s to come.”
