'Black Sails' Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers: Showdown Between Flint And Vane [VIDEO]

The producers of “Black Sails” have released two new videos that give the fans a preview of what to expect in the next episode. One of the videos shows the plans made by Flint and Vane in their fight to control the fort at Nassau. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

The previous episode of “Black Sails” showed that Captain Flint was prepared to fire on the fort at Nassau. Captain Vane had very few options to defeat Flint and considered sinking every ship in the Bay. The new preview video of the next episode reveals what plans each captain has made to secure the island without destroying the fort.

Destroying the fort at Nassau will leave the island vulnerable to attacks from ships from the sea. Flint realised this in the previous episode and was reluctant to fire on the fort. But his decision to fire on the fort towards the end of the previous episode will compel Vane to act quickly.

The preview video of “Black Sails” Season 2 Episode 5 (seen below) shows Vane choosing to “cut off the head” of the force that is attacking the fort. The pirate captain can be seen attacking Flint in the preview video. The video also shows that the Spanish ship, which is under the command of Flint, will open fire on the fort.

Flint will also be offered a choice in the next episode of “Black Sails.” Miranda Barlow can be seen telling Flint that she has information that will change his life forever. In the previous episode, she has come to know that Captain Vane is planning to ransom Abigail Ashe. A flashback scene in the previous episode had revealed that Abigail’s father was a close associate of Miranda’s husband.

Furthermore, Captain Flint and his crew are seen landing on Nassau with crates of weapons. The men have been ordered not to visit the brothel controlled by Max. Rackham, Anne and Max are seen making their plans in the middle of the conflict between Flint and Vane.

The second video from “Black Sails” Season 2 Episode 5 shows a flashback scene of Miranda and Flint. The scene shows Miranda telling Flint that her husband is focused on his principles, while Flint is more practical. She also tells him that her husband will lead his protection.
