"The Bachelorette Australia" suitor Michael Turnbull is creating some buzz because of his stint in the dating show. The 34-year-old former professional football player wants to leave no stone unturned for the finale episode of the show and was recently seen on a ring hunt with his sister, Michelle Reeves, who flew in from New York with her daughter, Camilla. Turnbull was also photographed at Brisbane Beach Pool last week stretching and working out.

A lot has been happening with Turnbull regarding his relationship with "The Bachelorette Australia," Sam Frost, which seems to be getting more serious as the days go by. Turnbull has never shied away from confessing his love for Sam. He even flashed a palm-written declaration of his love for her. He was also spotted at Tiffany's looking at rings, according to News.com.au.

However, the retired Melbourne Victory A-League goalkeeper has accused the producers of the show for dampening his raunchy kissing scenes with Sam Frost. Sam and Michael have been seen sharing some private moments on the show several times but "The Bachelorette Australia" contender is just not happy with the way those scenes have been downplayed by the producers.

“They’ve definitely cut out all the good parts,” the sportsperson said during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O on Friday. He revealed that the producers have toned down some of the scenes to make it suitable for the younger audience. Michael also said that he and his fellow contenders were not given ample time with Sam.

Turnbull is also in the news for other reasons. The frontrunner in "The Bachelorette Australia" told a New Zealand publication that he was looking for a "trophy wife" who had no aspirations of creating her own professional career, OK! Magazine reported. He also revealed that he dated bikini model Kyly Boldy-Clarke in 2003, according to another report from OK! Magazine.

At the start of "The Bachelorette Australia," Turnbull received backlash for making a controversial statement regarding his career when he claimed to have played for the Australian Socceroos. Discussing his plans after the show ends, Turnbull said he'll first check out whatever comes his way.
