Naturally humble and unassuming as we saw him when he walked the AGT stage for the first time in May, the vocal powerhouse as the Daily Telegraph described him never assumed anything, much less to win this season’s competition and bring home $250,000.

Losing no time after what he called the unexpected win, Vidgen has released his debut single, “Yes I Am, on Wednesday, August 3.

The Daily Telegraph noted that the song, which he also performed at the semi-finals in June got off a slow start when it debuted on iTunes after ranking No. 30 Wednesday afternoon.

This has not dampened the teen sensation’s spirit who has been repeatedly saying that he is still coming to terms with his win on Channel Seven’s “Australia’s Got Talent”.

"It's crazy. I can't believe I have a single on iTunes,” Vidgen was quoted as saying in reaction by The Daily Telegraph.

“I knew it was a hit in some way, that it was a great song and I feel privileged singing it,” Vidgen added.

Vidgen went back home Wednesday with mom Rachel and dad Steve. But the teen sensation, said the Manly Daily will soon be recording his songs before he could spend more time with family and supporters in hometown Manly Vale. After signing a contract with Sony, Vidgen’s first album is expected to hit the stores on August 19.
