The much awaited large-sized tablet from Apple, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, was unveiled in September. It comes with a stylus called Apple Pencil. The device was recently approved by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, which indicates its release date is soon approaching.

During the launch event, the Apple iPad Pro was announced to be available in the market in November but the company refrained from revealing the exact release date. In the U.S., receiving FCC approval is one of the last prerequisites to release a smartphone or tablet with wireless connectivity.

Now that the device has been approved by the FCC, the iPad Pro release date is speculated to be the first week of November, reported G for Games. Previous rumours suggested the tablet will hit the market by end of November.

The iPad Pro can be found listed with the model number FCC A1652. Since the listing states the tablet carries support for Wi-Fi and LTE, it indicates that both LTE and Wi-Fi editions of the tablet will be made available in the U.S. As for the Apple iPad Pro release date in Australia, the official website also mentions that it will be available in November.

Internet connectivity on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro has includes a Cat. 4 LTE modem. The device is capable of download speeds of 150 Mbps and upload speeds of 50 Mbps. The FCC listing also revealed the iPad Pro includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2.

The Apple Pencil that will accompany the iPad Pro has also received certification from the FCC, Mac Rumors reported. The Smart Keyboard with the U.S. English layout will be exclusively for the U.S.
