Information and pictures on Adidas' latest smart band device, the miCoach Fit Smart, has been leaked online revealing its new feature, the heart rate monitor and more.

According to Digitaltrends, the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart band looks like a combination of the Nike Fuelband and the Adidas Smart Run smartwatch. The site also cited FCC on the band's bluetooth detail.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will be using Bluetooth 4.0 for its connectivity features, but made no mention if it will be compatible with both Android and iOS.

However, during the Google I/O tech conference, Google announced that Adidas is one of its Google Fit partners, hinting at the possibility that the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart is Android OS compatible.

Techradar also detailed that the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will feature both GPS and a heart rate monitor built into the system.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart features an LED dot display compared to the LCD screen featured on the Adidas Smart Run model. Adidas could be aiming for extended battery life with the display option, which would consume less power compared to a full display screen.

The device also features a line of LED lights to the left side of the display, which looks very similar to Nike's Fuelband daily goal progress indicator. But the lights could actually be the overall battery charge indicator for the smart band.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart also features a heart rate monitor on the rear of the display. This is one feature that most fitness trackers are constantly trying to include with their own respective models.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will have three buttons available. Two are located on the top and bottom of the LED dot display, while the third button is available on the center just below the display. No information has been revealed yet as to what functions are mapped to these respective buttons.

Instead of a regular bracelet design, the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will feature an adjustable strap to make sure it fits snuggly on the user's wrist.

Price and availability for the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart is yet to be announced but the available colours have already been revealed.

The Adidas miCoach Fit Smart will initially come in two colours; black (see photo from yournewsticker) and white (see photo from geekygadgets).
