The long wait is over as ‘X-Factor Australia’ reveals the Top 12 hopefuls who will rock your Sunday and Monday nights for the much-anticipated live shows. But who made it to the cut for the live performances that will begin next week?

The Top 12 has been divided in four categories: UNDER 24 GIRLS, UNDER 24 BOYS, OVER 24s, GROUPS.

In the groups category, those mentored by Nate made the list, including Third D3gree and Adira-Belle. Fans have to say good bye to Straight up, Boyd Band and Group.

For the female contestants under the age of 24, Joelle, Ellie Lovegrove and Jiordan Tolli are all in. They have been mentored by Red Foo.

Singer Ronan Keating was clear with who he wants to see again. They included Jai Waetford, earlier touted as the next Justin Bieber of Australia ( after Jack Vidgen, who won Australia’s Got Talent in 2011). You will also see Taylor Henderson and Omar Dean to be on his team. Unfortunately for Ofisa Toleafoa, the gay contestant from New Zealand didn’t impress Ronan that he got eliminated. Ofisa made quite a stir when he touched many hearts with his rendition of “I am Changing” (dedicated to his mom)

Those over 24 mentored by Dannii Minogue and who is coming back starting next week are Barry Southgate, Dami Im and Cat Vas. This is not the year for Tyler Hudson, Michael Ross and Gemma Thorpe.

The X-Factor Australia airs on Channel 7, Sunday 6:30p.m. and Mon 7:30 p.m. Check out the VIDEOS here.
