The “Legends Pack” for “WWE 2K16” comes out tomorrow and will feature six new characters that the players can use. To celebrate the occasion, 2K games held a livestream that featured the legendary wrestlers in action. WWE fans also got to see the development team interact with the 2015 King of the Ring winner Wade Barrett.

Dusty Rhodes vs Big Boss Man was the first legends match shown and it had plenty of action, with Rhodes eventually beating the Boss Man with his Bionic Elbow smash. Attack of the Fanboy noted that fans got to see the full entrances of these legends, which would thankfully be a recurring part of the livestream, as fans got to see the entrances of the other legends as well.

After the singles match between Rhodes and Boss Man, fans would be treated to a triple threat match featuring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect and Bad News Barrett. There were plenty of weapons used throughout, but after a few near falls, Mr. Perfect ended up getting the victory in the end.

The final match of the livestream was Trish Stratus vs Lita. These two female wrestlers redefined the Women’s Division back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s thanks to their rivalries with each other and their wrestling ability. Both athletes would eventually enter the Hall of Fame after their retirement.

This article from What Culture confirmed that the next downloadable content (DLC) pack would be the Hall of Fame showcase. This mode has players reliving great moments from the most recent inductees of the WWE Hall of Fame.

While the showcase has some wrestlers already in the game, like The Rock, Randy Savage and Rikishi, fans will also be able to unlock legends not yet in the game like Scott Hall, Alundra Blayze and the Bush Whackers to name a few.

Fans will be able to download the “Legends Pack” on Dec. 22 for $8.99 if purchased separately. Those that purchased the $24.99 season pass will get the “Legends Pack” right away, along with the recently released “New Moves Pack.” No release dates have been revealed for the “Future Stars Pack” or “Hall of Fame Showcase” mode.
