Katy Perry does it outstanding again as a jungle queen during her wild 'Roar' performance for Saturday Night Live which was hosted by Hollywood actor Bruce Willis for that night.

The Roar singer decided to bring the entire theme of her latest single from her Prism album which is that of a jungle setting. It was cute and funny all at the same time to see the rest of her band members dressed up in animal costumes too. The singer was wearing a sexy leopard print dress which made her appear like one sexy and hot queen of the jungle.

The 28-year-old Perry even tweeted to all her fans before her performance started:

Getting ready for dress rehearsal right now...Who's tuning in tonight? We are gonna bring you so much FUN so don't miss it! #SNL

HEY! Look out for the lion, tiger, croc, elephant, giraffe, monkey & parrot on stage! I'm on in 15 minutes! #SNL — Katy Perry (@katyperry) October 13, 2013

Yes, the zoo animals have been a bit bored since the government shutdown so I invited some of them on stage with me tonight... #SNL

As the musical guest of SNL for that night, she also performed another song titled Walking on Air, where the rest of her band and back up dancers and singers plainly wore white. Perry herself wore something white for her top but matched with a very short plaid skirt. It was interesting, though, how she moved from one part of the stage to another using a silver cloth. Of course, there are the strobe lights to liven up the '90s disco theme. However, it was this performance that got mixed reactions over at Twitterverse. Maybe it could have been due to the overused wind machine behind or maybe it was too old school that it would remind you of Britney Spears' teenage days.

After hearing Katy Perry sing on SNL, I feel bad for her. Even if she wanted to, she could never gain weight and still have a singing career — Big Paul (@Blackbeastmode) October 14, 2013

Did the musicians during Katy Perry's Roar on #SNL at least get to pick which animal they had to dress up as? Serious question.

This Katy Perry performance from SNL last night is so awkward and sloppy. http://t.co/DsFYCnVB36 — graham (@grahamblackall) October 13, 2013

I don't actually like pop music but I watched Katy Perry perform on SNL because she is so hot and now that damn song is stuck in my brain!

This is not the first time that Katy Perry became a part of the SNL as she has done a Sesame Street spoof and even became a host in 2011. On the other hand, Bruce Willis showed his talent for harmonica, and he made the entire episode a comfortable experience once again for the pop singer.

Katy Perry's latest album Prism, where her songs Roar and Walking on Air are included, will have its official release on Oct 22.
