As the show moves forward, the competition gets more intense. At this point on, coaches no longer have a say on who comes further on “The Voice.” Everything now lies on the viewers. In the latest episode, the Top 12 sang their hearts out in the hope of getting as much votes as possible and making it one step closer to being declared the winner.

The Live Top 12 Eliminations episode was the first where fans got to use the Instant Save for this season. Viewers were also treated to stunning performances by Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine and their respective teams. Garth Brooks also appeared as key adviser for the Top 12 on this episode. To date, only eleven are moving forward.

The Live Top 12 eliminations night kicked off with the announcement of three contestants who would be saved from elimination. The first revealed was Ali Caldwell from Team Miley. We McDonald from Team Alicia was also saved, followed by Team Adam’s Brendan Fletcher, who was saved by Adam last week. After Adam and his team performed, host Carson Daly asked several contestants some questions about how they are doing on the show.

Later on, Courtney Harell from Team Blake was welcomed into the next round. The same fate was met by Billy Gilman from Team Adam. Alicia Keys then performed a new song and some footage of Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus was shown. Next to be announced as safe was Darby Walker from Miley Cyrus’ team and Austin Allsup from Blake’s team. Cyrus then took the stage to perform with her team before more eliminations were revealed.

Next to be declared safe were Christian Cuevas from Team Alicia, Josh Gallagher from Team Adam and Sundance Head from Team Blake. At this point, only Sa’Rayah from Team Alicia and Aaron Gibson from Team Miley were left at the mercy of the voters.

Unfortunately, neither of the bottom two were able to rake in votes from the Save Me performances. Sa’Rayah went for her rendition of “Rock Steady” while Aaron stuck to his version of “Lego House.” After a brief commercial break, Sa’Rayah was sent home with words of encouragement while Aaron advanced to the next round.

“The Voice US” Season 11 airs on NBC every Monday and Tuesday. Stay tuned for the Live Top 11 performances and Live Top 11 eliminations happening on Nov. 21 and 22, respectively.
