Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, reigning women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is the without a doubt the biggest superstar of President Dana White’s mixed martial arts promotional outfit so much so that current contenders and even retired fighters in different sports have envisioned how they would fare against the “The Arm Collector.” From Cris “Cyborg” Justino to Brazilian Bethe Correia to American Meisha Tate, Rousey never runs out of rivals who are salivating at the prospect of dethroning her.

The latest sports personality to take a crack at “Rowdy” is retired famed boxer Leila Ali, who compared the stature of the undefeated champion’s size to her 3-year-old son, a comment that did not sit well with the 28-year-old Olympic bronze medallist. Rousey reminded Ali that she is just around and is always ready to take up a challenge, so much so that her track record speaks that she is not afraid of the size disadvantage.

“If she wants to take me up on that, I’m around,” Rousey told The Daily Beast. “She’s retired and has several kids. I understand why she’d think that because she has a size advantage, but if you saw my last fight it had nothing to do with size or strength at all.”

Rousey has nothing been short of impressive after turning professional in 2012. Her last three fights in the Octagon, averaged a total of just 42 seconds which all ended with a technical knockout. Her latest conquest of number two contender Cat Zingano only cements her reputation as a submissions artist with a clear anticipation of an opponents’ game plan. The shock and the incessant cursing of Zingano after succumbing to an arm bar just 14 seconds into the fight explains how Rousey can strike the surprise element to her conquests.

In the meantime, “Rowdy” is looking forward to her next project among others, an action thriller with director Peter Berg entitled, “Mile 22.” Despite her busy schedule, Rousey also has completed several other films in the past year that are scheduled for the summer namely, “Fast 7” and “Entourage the Movie.” She is also currently penning her biography with her sister entitled, “My Fight/Your Fight” and is also a product endorser of David Briton Jeans.
