Scott’s pack is on a race against time in rescuing Liam Dunbar, played by Dylan Sprayberry, and Hayden Romero, played by Victoria Moroles, from the claws of the Dread Doctors in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Ouroboros.” In the latest episode of the MTV series, Kira’s out-of-control condition forces her to leave the pack and the emergence of the mysterious Desert Wolf poses a threat to Malia’s life.

Liam-Hayden rescue mission. Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, embarks on a mission with Malia Tate, played by Shelley Hennig, and Mason Hewitt, played by Khylin Rhambo, to find and rescue Liam and Hayden who were captured by the Dread Doctors in the previous episode titled “Strange Frequencies.” Scott taps into Corey’s memories to locate where the Dread Doctors are keeping Liam and Hayden hostage.

However, Scott, Malia and Mason ended up running in circles in an abandoned water treatment plant while looking for Liam and Hayden. After performing experiments on Hayden, the Dread Doctors transported Hayden and Liam to a different location.

Theo Raeken, played by Cody Christian, uses the opportunity to save Liam and Hayden in order to earn the trust of True Alpha Scott and his pack. Theo, who is actually working with the Dread Doctors, forces Corey, played by Michael Johnston, to dig deep into his memories for a location where Liam and Hayden could be in order to make his rescue mission convincing.

Theo heads to the house basement that Corey described in his memories and rescued Liam and Hayden. Scott, Malia and Mason return home to see that Liam and Hayden are now safe.

Kira says goodbye. The Beacon Hills police arrest Kira Yukimura, played by Arden Cho, for the death of the supernatural creature in Scott’s home. The issue caused a conflict between Scott’s mom, played by Melissa Ponzio, and Sheriff Stilinski, played by Linden Ashby.

Kira’s parents arrive at the police station to protect Kira. Ken Yukimura, played by Tom T. Choi, claims he owns the sword, he used it as self-defense and the police can arrest him for the crime.

When the dead body of the female chimera disappeared, the police had to let Kira’s father go. Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien, and Lydia Martin, played by Holland Roden, find out that Deputy Parrish, played by Ryan Kelley, is the one who takes the dead bodies of supernatural creatures.

Kira remembers what the Dread Doctors did to her during the night of the traffic jam after following her mom’s advice to read the book about the Dread Doctors backwards. Kira tells Scott that the damage must be fixed. Scott does not want Kira to leave. However, Kira thinks the solution to her kitsune problems is not in Beacon Hills so she says goodbye to her boyfriend and leaves with her parents.

The Desert Wolf appears. Dr. Alan Deaton, played by Seth Gilliam, discovers about the Dread Doctors’ failed experiments and their “Ouroboros” symbol. Dr. Deaton was about to leave the abandoned place when the Desert Wolf, played by Marisol Nichols, showed up.

The Desert Wolf wants to know if the interesting rumour she heard about her daughter being alive is true. Dr. Deaton responds that he does not know anything about it.

“If she is still alive, I’m just gonna have to kill her again,” the Desert Wolf declares in the ending scene.

“Teen Wolf” Season 5 will return with episode 9 titled “Lies of Omission” on Monday night, Aug. 17. The brand new episode airs at 10/9c on MTV.
