The synopsis of “Supernatural” Season 11, episode 6 in a Carter Matt report teases that Castiel (Misha Collins) will be asking Metatron to help in stopping the Darkness. In the third episode titled “The Bad Seed,” Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) has pointed out that Metatron could have some information on the Darkness even though he does not really like the idea of contacting the former Scribe of God.
“Supernatural” cast member Jared Padalecki has teased about the return of Curtis Armstrong as Metatron in an Entertainment Weekly (EW) Spoiler Room report. “We’re going to have to maybe go to Metatron for help or Castiel, and we don’t even know what they know because the Darkness predates them as well,” Padalecki shared.
Metatron is not the only character reappearing in the new season of the CW TV series. TVLine reports that executive producer Jeremy Carver teased at the 2015 Comic-Con panel that Sam and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will have to confront a couple of figures from their past to make some unexpected and unholy alliances when it comes to dealing with the Darkness.

The new episode is also expected to explore on the storyline involving the demon tablet that Metatron took in “Supernatural” Season 10, episode 18 titled “Book of the Damned.” Meanwhile, the synopsis further teased that Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is starting to lose his hold on Amara/The Darkness (Emily Swallow).
“Supernatural” Season 11 airs on Wednesday nights at 9/8c on the CW Network. “Supernatural” Season 11, episode 6 titled “Our Little World” is scheduled to air on Nov. 11.
