'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 12 Synopsis Teases Guest Appearance Of 'Downton Abbey' Actress As An Evil Witch
The synopsis for "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 12 titled "About a Boy" has been released. In the upcoming episode, the fans of the CW TV series will be seeing a younger Dean Winchester and a "Downton Abbey" star making a guest appearance as an evil witch.
According to the episode synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Sam (Jared Padalecki) will find a case to work on in order to distract Dean (Jensen Ackles) and get his brother out of the Men of Letters bunker. The case that the Winchester brothers will be working on involves people vanishing into thin air leaving only their clothes behind.
Sam and Dean initially suspect fairies and angels responsible for the disappearance but the two are shocked to find out the truth. Hansel (guest star Mark Acheson) of the "Hansel and Gretel" folktale is the one who kidnaps people and turns them into their younger version to appease the evil witch.
However, Dean Winchester will learn about the evidence the hard way when he becomes Hansel's next victim. The fans will be seeing the "Supernatural" character return to a 14-year-old boy. The synopsis teased that "Downton Abbey" actress Lesley Nicol will guest star in the upcoming new episode as the evil witch.
In the meantime, "Supernatural" Season 10 will return with episode 10 titled "The Hunter Games" where the focus will be on Dean Winchester and the troublesome Mark of Cain. The mid-season premiere episode's synopsis and photo stills in a TVOvermind report tease that Dean wants to get rid of the Mark of Cain and he needs help.
The synopsis for "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 10 revealed that Sam, Dean and Castiel (Misha Collins) double their efforts in finding a way to remove the Mark of Cain on the older Winchester brother but they did not find anything in the lore that can help them. Then, Castiel comes up with an idea out of desperation but Sam thinks it is the worst idea ever.
The photo stills showed the Winchester brothers interrogating Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) in the Men of Letters bunkers. The other details in the episode teased that Rowena (Ruth Connell) will continue to plot against her son, Crowley (Mark Sheppard), while Claire (Kathryn Love Newton) plans to get back at Dean for killing her friend, Randy.
"Supernatural" Season 10, episode 10 titled "The Hunter Games" airs on Tuesday night, Jan. 20, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
