After months of speculations on the real status of their relationship, singer-turned actress Sophie Monk finally admitted that she is indeed dating fellow Australian and Hollywood hunk Sam Worthington.

Monk, 33, made the admission on May 14 to co-host Jules Lund over the afternoon radio show Fifi and Jules on Today FM. Pinch hitting for Fifi Box, Monk could no longer afford a denial as Lund managed to repeatedly squeeze her for an answer.

A pop quiz was initiated by Lund where the lucky radio caller could supposedly win $10,000 if all five questions are answered correctly.

The tricky radio host saved the oft-repeated question for last and asked the caller - "Alright, Avatar star Sam Worthington is the current boyfriend of which Hollywood actress?"

When the caller dropped the name of Sophie, Lund asked the blonde beauty to confirm it. Pressed for a quick answer, Monk had no other way but to admit it finally.

Worthington and Monk have kept tongues wagging for months as they've been constantly seen together out as a couple. Initially, Monk denied any insinuation of romance saying that it was all professional as they're both working on a TV project for the Australian audience.

"We're very close, but we're not dating. He's a good friend, I really like him. He's just really down to earth and really...Australian," Monk would say in earlier interviews.

Just over the weekend, the couple was also sighted at the Melbourne Airport where Monk picked up her boyfriend. The 36-year Worthington held the actress' hand while they walked through the airport together.

The pair shares some things in common. Aside from starring in big budgeted films, both are British-born but spent their growing up years in Australia.

Before Monk, Worthington was in a relationship with Crystal Humphries. Monk, meanwhile, has been engaged twice, once to businessman Jimmy Esebag and another to Good Charlotte band member Benji Madden.

The actor will soon be reuniting with his co-stars Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver, with director James Cameron for the filming of the follow up to the blockbuster science fiction adventure, Avatar, set for release in 2015.
