The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime continues to make its appearance online to keep reminding fans its existence and its imminent launch in the near future. Just recently, the purported Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime with the model number SM-G906S has been spotted on the Indian import tracking Web site Zauba, heading to the Indian shores for testing.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, which arrived in Delhi Airport, India came from South Korea and is marked for evaluation and testing purposes. Interestingly, the shipping listing indicated that the device sports a 5.1 inches screen as opposed to the previous reports saying that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will sport a 5.2 inches screen. Oddly, the purported Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime shipped for testing is prices at $362, which is quite low for a premium flagship.

Previously in the same import Web site, the Motorola Moto E was priced at $137, which turned out to be not far off from its actual retail price of $129. On the other hand, this might not be the case of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime as the price indicated in the Web site was too cheap for a premium device. As such, the accuracy of these details remains to be verified at this point in time.

The purported specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime include QHD resolution display (2560 x 1440), 2.5Hz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, quad-core CPU, 16MP sensor rear camera with ISOCELL technology, Adreno 420 GPU, LTE-A connectivity, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4.3 KitKat and download speeds reaching up to 225Mbps. The premium smartphone will launch in black, white, blue, gold and pink colour options.

Moreover, some leaked images claim to showcase the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime in the flesh. However, there are no official announcements on the launch of the device just yet but it has been tipped to be unveiled next month. But then again, the chances are slim that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will be revealed at the tablet-dedicated Samsung event on June 12. Initial reports say that it will only launch in Korea first.
