These were the words coming from London-based designer Markus Lupfer after seeing the 21-year-old singer wearing the cat-print bikini and shoes she wore while singing Wrecking Ball at the recently-concluded American Music Awards.

He tells Grazia Daily how he has been in touch with Miley's reps prior to the event and making him aware that "she would be wearing [my creation]."

Turns out, according to Markus, she 'looked amazing than I hoped. It was fabulous!

'Its always great to see your clothes on such a global stage, the whole team and I were super excited that she wore it and looked so perfect. The best possible way to start a Monday morning!'

He also liked the way Miley styled the bikiki and shoes with large glittery Perspex bangles that exuded a sci-fi vibe on the entire outfit.

All this, without taking away the focus from her superb performance.

The cat print used in this custom-made bikini and shoes were straight of his spring/summer 2014 line, which Style.com describes as something straight out of a 'teenybopper's bedroom' with floral prints and statement shirts abound the collection. Markus also tells Style.com about the exact girl who would probably wear the clothes from his line this season.

'(T)his girl is a bit of a rebel,' he says.

But the cat print is another story -- Style predicts that the design is in reaction to people who rip off his designs (copy cat). In particular, his sweater with appliques such as lips, eyes and other statements has been copied by other designers.

Markus describes further the SS14 collection as 'really light hearted and feminine and the glitter cat print was a great way to interpret the theme in a really cute and graphic way.'

BUt for those who could not wait to get their hands on his cat-printed items, Markus announces that iPhone cases featuring the said cat print is now available in their online site.

'(E)ven Katy Perry has one!' he exclaims.

Aside from his solo collections, Markus Lupfert also had collaborations in his portfolio. He has designed a children's line for Debenhams in collaboration with Donna Air, as well as a collaboration with ASOS featuring reworkings of leather.
