Michael Muhney who was reportedly let go from "The Young and The Restless" seems quite excited about his new project. The actor revealed about his new movie "Search Engines," saying that he has pushed the limits as an actor for the film.

"Straight? Gay? Labels. Pushing the limits filming my role in the new movie 'Search Engines.' Such a well-written/directed film. #inspired," he tweeted on Thursday.

Muhney would also be seen in a television film called, "Back to Christmas." The film is typical Christmas holiday film and would premiere on ION Television film Saturday, Dec. 20 at 9 p.m.

Muhney 's television film also stars "True Blood" star Kelly Overton. Muhney finished shooting for the movie in August and he also took to Twitter to praise his co-star Kelly. He said in his tweet that Kelly is a wonderful girl and he had a lot of fun working with her. Muhney also showered his another co-star Gloria Loring with praises.

Gloria plays Muhney's mother in law in the film and she even gave a Christmas CD to Muhney on the film's wrap, according to a tweet.

For those who are not aware, Muhney was let go of the popular daytime series "The Young and The Restless" due to alleged sexual charges by another actress Hunter King, according to the reports by Daily Mail.

Muhney played the role of Adam Newman on the show. His firing from the show led to a much uproar and there were a bevy of Y&R fans who wanted the actor to make a comeback. Muhney announced his exit from the show in December last year via Twitter and in August claimed that allegation was indeed false and was a salacious rumour.

Since then Muhney was quite active on his social media account and has kept his fans updated about his upcoming projects. Muheny is married with Jamie Muhney and has three children.
