The upcoming flagship smartphone of LG is the LG G3, which will be the successor of the LG G2. The LG G3 comes after the HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 and it is expected to build more on the software and hardware features seen in the other flagships. On the other hand, the LG G3 is expected to give us an idea for what the Google Nexus 6 might offer us in the future.

LG G3 Possible Release Date

The LG G3 release date is expected to be in May or in June this year as it is expected to come after the release of the Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5, which were both launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain last February. The HTC One M8 was launched in March and it was made available on the same date. The Samsung Galaxy S5 hit the shelves last April 11, which means that the LG G3 is already on its way, possibly with a launch date in May or June and a release date in September.

The LG G3 specs and features are expected to be a notch above other flagships that were released earlier this year. Although there are no official announcement on the LG G3 specs and features just yet, rumours suggest that the LG G3 will sport a 2560 x 1440 QHD 2K display, new Snapdragon 805 quad-core Qualcomm processor, 3GB of RAM and 3,300 mAh battery.
