LG confirmed the launch of its much anticipated next-generation flagship smartphone, the LG G3, at a special event on Tuesday, May 27.

As of the moment, LG only officially confirmed the LG G 3 will launch with 2K display and a special case. Other specs and features have not been officially revealed yet. However, recent reports that virtually spilled the specs and features of the LG G3 revealed the specs of the upcoming high-end Android device.

According to fresh reports from TmoNews and TechBlog the handset will sport a removable 3,000-mAh battery and microSD card slot, which are not featured in the LG G2. These two Web sites have provided the key details of the LG G3's specs and confirmed features that are must-haves for Android handset buyers.

TmoNews claims T-Mobile will have its own LG G3 flavour later this year based on an FFC document that revealed a T-Mobile-compatible version of the smartphone. The Web site further claims the smartphone's launch to be in mid to late June. Thus far, this information, as well as pricing details, of the LG G3 T-Mobile variant have not been confirmed yet.

Moreover, myLGphones reported the LG G3 model number is LG-D851 will work with T-Mobile's LTE and HSPA frequencies. Although there is no guarantee the smartphone is already on its way, it is the best hint or information available until the launch event of the LG G3 next week.

On the other hand, according to the famous leakster @evleaks, who has been accurate with his predictions and leaks in the past, provided a set of images detailing the particular features of the LG G3.

LG's Dutch Web site claimed the LG G3 will sport 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 2,560 x1,440 screen resolution and 538 ppi, 13-MP camera with OIS+ and laser autofocus, 2.1-MP front camera, 1-W speaker with boost amp, wireless charging, removable 3,000-mAh battery, microSD slot, QuickCircle case, Snapdragon 801 chip and 2 GB of RAM. Furthermore, the LG G3 is reported to launch with a new user interface that is easy to understand and attractive.
