Newly engaged couple Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries may both be in the sky now as they come one step closer to the big day, after they finalized the prenup agreement.

But there would have been no 20.5 carat ring and much-talked about engagement if it were not for the cupid shooting both their hearts.

Wonder who is the matchmaker of celebrity couple, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries?

It was Kris’ teammate from the New Jersey Net, Jordan Famar who played matchmaker for the lovebirds.

In an interview with Famar during the Crysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles over the weekend, fellow NBA star revealed that it was him who introduced the couple in New York, adding that both ‘have come a long way since’.

"It's crazy," the point guard said of Kim and Kris, according to Us Weekly.

“Kris] has come a long way...A lot has happened!" the Jersey Nets point guard added.

Kim, 30 and Kris, 26 began dating in December and got engaged last month.

The 24-year old cupid clarified however, that the two have both expressed interest in each other before he set up a date for them.

Famar explained: "It was kind of mutual thing with them asking about each other."

Kris’s fellow NBA star was also quick to admit that he was surprised at the engagement of the couple that had been in the headlines for weeks.

"I was surprised," Farmar said, according to Us Weekly. "They were at my house the day before and he hit me in the morning and he told me he did it. I was pretty shocked!"

And did the cupid shoot the right hearts?

"They both fit each other. He is a good kid. He is from the country," Famar said describing Kris. "So he kind of slows it down, and she is fast paced and has a lot of stuff going on -- so they kind of balance each other out."

Well, it won’t be a surprise if Famar is the couple’s best man, wouldn’t it?
