Whenever Philippines is forced to face a natural or man-made catastrophe, the nation always comes off with flying colours and proved the entire world why they survive.

In the mean time some racist people like Jax Cote and Devina Dediva (who unfortunately belong to very noble profession of teaching), take the opportunity to become famous by passing offensive remarks regardless of consequences and hurt millions of hearts around the world.

"Racism is a moral catastrophe, most graphically seen in the prison industrial complex and targeted police surveillance in black and brown ghettos rendered invisible in public discourse." As quoted by prominent author, Cornel West.

Jax Cote is the name trending on social media right now following Fbnws.com reports on Friday about a cruel comment made by this person on the impact of the strongest storm (Yolanda) to hit the world in 2013 on the Southeast Asian nation on Facebook.

Based on the photo in the fbNws.com article, Jax cote is from Vancouver, British Columbia, lists her profession as a teacher at a private elementary school, and studied at Trent University.

"so this means the world is getting rid a whole whack of Philipino's? about time God cleaned house" Jax Cote commented on an article by Fbnws.com.

Shortly after her negative remarks the harsh reactions from Filipinos all over the world surfaced and a facebook page named Jax Cote Haters is created to answer and fight back this racist elementary teacher-- the same way the another teacher assistant, Devina Dediva was condemned by the Haters of Devina Dediva page, created by the Filipino people in October.

"Jax Cote= Very cruel comment. You should be ashamed of yourself." Posted by Jax Cote Haters

Many people commented on this post in rant and rave:

"the world now knows what kind of a person you are, jax cote. shame on you. you have no right to be a teacher. kids should be kept as far away as possible from you," commented Boots Garcia Sison.

"God created people equally...is his eyes theres noone ahead of someone..now when the world cleanse itself be aware you might standing on your own sink hole...when we face something like this we have our own way to carry on and we are united...so stop acting like you were a child of mary bcoz you are not.." commented Rowena Cruz.

Her racist comment came almost simultaneously when a positive comment was posted by username dudesk001 on a CNN article on Storm Haiyan (Yolanda) titled "More than 100 killed in one Philippine city by Super Typhoon Haiyan"

"Time to get to know the Filipino people...unbelievably resilient, long suffering, good natured, uber friendly, loyal, ingenius, and a bunch of survivors. At the end of the day, the Filipinos will just shake off the dirt from their clothes and go about their businesss...and SMILE. They do not complain much, they will bear as long as they can. Maybe this is why they were given the "privilege" of bearing the burden of the strongest typhoon ever recorded. The indomitable human spirit at its finest." Posted by dudesk001

Earlier in October after Megan Young become the first Filipina to win the Miss World title, Devina DeDiva posted offensive remarks on the young and the Filipinos.

In the spirit of fighting fire with fire lots of Filipino natives reacted and one Facebook "hate page" has been created and some have also uploaded hate videos on YouTube. DeDiva was dubbed as "Miss Racism 2013." Subsequently facing intense criticism and losing her job she ultimately apologized to Megan Young and the rest of the Filipino people. Jax is following the path of Dediva.

"Miss Universe Philippines 2012, Janine Tugonon and Miss Universe Philippines 2013, Ariella Arida sent their thoughts and prayers to their home country in midst of the World's most powerful typhoon." Posted by Missosology on their Facebook page

Many Miss Universe 2013 fans from Philippines commented on the post relating this super typhoon to Miss universe 2013:

"If Yolanda conquers the Philippines, then Ara will conquer the Universe... Laban Ng buong Pilipinas Hindi lang si Ara.. Let's pray Madlang Pipol," commented Alex Cacabelos

"Keep safe filipinos! Go ara! Bring home the crown!"commented Alfred Acasio.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Filipino people that are impacted by the brunt of Super Typhoon Haiyan.
