The second Season of The CW series “Jane The Virgin” has already seen a number of high profile guest stars. The latest superstar that’s being linked to the series is George Clooney, although reports are unconfirmed, speculations are rising about the Hollywood star’s possible appearance as Rafael Solano’s (Justin Baldoni) biological father.

Unreality TV reveals that Rafael’s real father isn’t Emilio Solano, the man who raised him and his sister, Luisa. Not much has been revealed about the identity of his biological father but “Jane The Virgin” showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman has previously said that Rafael will also meet a long-lost half-brother this Season.

After Emilio’s death in the first Season, Rafael tracked down his mother and learned that his father paid her a sum of money to stay away from her kids. Rafael was devastated to learn that his mom abandoned him in exchange of cash. She also explained that she had cheated on his father and this prompted Emilio to pay her off to get out of their lives.

Her cheating could be connected to the possibility that Rafael was never fathered by Emilio to begin with. With children being born out of botched inseminations and other such twists, the possibilities are endless.

It remains to be seen if Clooney will be making an appearance. In the meantime, pop superstar Britney Spears is the most awaited guest star. She is expected to appear in the upcoming episode, where she will be having a classroom dance-off with Jane (Gina Rodriguez). Other big names that have already appeared this season include singer Kesha and Mexican telenovela star Kate del Castillo.

“Jane the Virgin” airs Mondays at 9:00 pm ET on The CW.
