The HTC Desire 620 is allegedly an upcoming budget smartphone from the Taiwanese tech giant. A Bulgarian website, Nixanbal.com has published several HTC Desire 620 leaked photos along with its specifications.

Unfortunately, the article containing the HTC Desire 620 leaked photos is no longer active, but PhoneArena states a cached version of the page is still accessible. At the beginning of this month, NDTV had reported that HTC is working on a budget smartphone called the HTC Desire 620. The initial details of the smartphone surfaced through NCC, a regulatory body based in Taiwan. It was revealed the handset will be available in two versions, the HTC Desire 620h, a 4G model, and HTC Desire 620u, a 3G model, based on NCC documents.

Meanwhile, Nixanbal was able to get its hands on the device and reported all the specifications listed below unless stated otherwise. The HTC Desire 620 specifications include a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The handset is powered by a quad-core clocking at 1.2 GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU.

PhoneArena highlights the fact that the handset would probably feature a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC. The chipset is supported by 1 GB of RAM. The HTC Desire will come with an onboard storage of 8 GB, and it also features a microSD slot.

The HTC Desire 620 will be equipped with an 8 MP primary camera on its rear, and on the front side of the handset, there is a front-facing camera of 5 MP. The handset will be shipped with Android 4.4.4 KitKat onboard that will be overlaid with HTC Sense 6 UI.

The HTC Desire 620 also features dual front-facing speakers. One speaker is placed on the top bezel, and the other one is present on the bottom bezel. The handset houses a removable battery of 2,100 mAh capacity.

NDTV states the Desire 620 is a probable successor of the Desire 610 that was launched during the Mobile Congress World event held in February this year. It says the specifications of Desire 620 is quite similar to that of Desire 616. The site has also speculated that the handset could first roll out in China followed by release in other markets. HTC has not confirmed the leaked photos, speculations or release information of the device as of this writing.
