She's 43-year-old with a body that a 20-something would die for to have. Ironically, not many would assume that Gwen Stefani stopped working out.

"No Doubt" singer Gwen Stefani opens up in an interview with Marie Claire magazine. And although she has been showing off her abs while promoting their sixth album, Gwen confessed that she stopped going to the gym.

During the photoshoot, Gwen showed her stylish side while making a revelation herself. She admits that she decided to stop working out this year to give her body and herself a much needed break.

"This past year, I kind of stopped working out. I think my body just needed a break. And so I did that and focused more on feeling good as opposed to beating myself up," Gwen said.

The singer was talking about how she juggles time for her family, her career in music and her clothing line. Gwen tells that while she was busy recording for Push and Shove with her band, she was having a difficult time keeping up with a hectic family life and that is why she decided to just give up her time for the gym.

"I would be up all night because my second baby didn't sleep, and he had a lot of ear infections. Then I'd wake up in the morning and do my workout, which I always felt I had to do, and then meetings for my three clothing lines, and then hang out with my kids, take them to preschool - da, da, da," No Doubt's front singer said on Marie Claire.

"At four o'clock, I'd be like, 'All right, I'm out of here. I'm going to go to the studio and try to write a record.' I'd sit on the couch [with my band mates] and be like, 'Let's do this now, because I'm missing time with the kids. I could be having dinner with them and putting them to bed.' It was really hard," she continued.

Last year, Gwen admitted that she was addicted to working out five times a week. But judging by her fit figure, it would be hard to believe her confession.
