'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 12 spoilers: Power struggle ensues at Grey Sloan Memorial; Maggie gets a surprise visit from her mother; Stephanie gets caught up in the Owen and Amelia drama

Previously on “Grey’s Anatomy,” Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), with Maggie Pierce’s (Kelly McCreary) help, did her best to figure out where Alex Karev (Justing Chambers) was. When she finally gave out his arraignment number, the sisters learned online that he had been sentenced to 30 years in prison. Luckily, one of the digits was mistyped. When they got the correct information, they discovered that his trial had been indefinitely postponed. Shortly after, Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) showed up looking for Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone).

Later on, a taxi carrying a woman who was about to give birth was hit by her own husband, which results to the baby’s head being trapped by a broken pelvis. The needed a C-section. The team went ahead and rescued her and the baby.

While Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) tried to save the pregnant woman in distress after giving birth, Leah Murphy (Tessa Ferrer) was left to treat the baby who was also in trouble. Just before Murphy was about to give up, Arizona stepped in and even with his best efforts, there was no guarantee that the woman would even wake up. As for the baby’s survival, it was not a sure thing either.

In this upcoming episode, titled “None of Your Business,” one of the attendants at Grey Sloan Memorial will refuse to work with Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk ). The official YouTube promo shows Meredith refusing to go in the line and Bailey asking her to pack her things and go home. E pisode 12 wi ll focus on the power struggle happening right in side the hospital, where one doctor might get pushed out.

The synopsis reveals that Bailey will have to make a tough decision because of the attendant’s attitude . This looks like she and Meredith will end up in a heated argument and someone might get suspended or, worse, fired .

As for Maggie, she will get a surprise visit from her mother while she is at work. This looks like a warm reunion between mother and daughter , which will happen just in time for Valentine’s Day. As for Stephanie Edwards (Jerika Hinton), she will get caught up in Amelia and Owen’s personal drama.

Season 13 episode 12 of “Grey’s Anatomy” will air on February 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC in the US. In Australia, it airs on Channel Seven.
