Among the Google Nexus 6 features may include a 2K display just like LG G3.

There were reports that Google Nexus 6 will be manufactured again by LG Electronics, which has been Google's partner in making the last two Nexus handsets. Thus, consumers can assume that the Nexus 6 will be roughly based on LG G3's specifications.

LG has unveiled the official specs and features of LG G3 that hinted on some of the features we may see in the next Nexus smartphone. LG G3 packs a 5.5 inch UHD 2560 x 1440 display. The 2K screen resolution was just apt for a large screen display that is similar to the screen size of Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

This has happened before as Nexus 5 has similar specs with LG G2. The device was not exactly a copycat but Google opted for a smaller screen display but kept most of G2's internal specs. A similar case may happen this year. Thus, it is most likely that Google will trim the huge 5.5 inches screen to 5 inches but retain most of LG G3's specs.

Meanwhile, Google Nexus 6 rumoured features include the 64-bit version of its Snapdragon 800-series chipset known as the Snapdragon 810 clocked at 3 GHz. Other speculated specs and features of the next Google smartphone are 5.2-inch full-HD, curved LCD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass; 3 GB RAM; 13 MP camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera; Bluetooth; NFC; Micro-USB; Wi-Fi; and 4G.

Nexus smartphones have become popular among Android fans due to its competitive specs and features paired with affordable price. Moreover, Nexus devices run with pure Android OS and were the first in line to get Android updates without much delay. Rumours claimed that Google Nexus 6 release date is set at the I/O conference in June. The smartphone will be introduced alongside a new version of the Android OS. However, other reports claimed that Google will wait for a full year cycle and will release the handset in October.
