“Girl Meets World” is airing its final episode on Disney Channel this week. The last episode of the series that will be shown in the network is titled “Girl Meets Goodbye.” But before the show bids goodbye on Disney, Cory will surprise his students with one last “history” test.

According to TV Line, Cory asks Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and the rest of his class to recall the biggest landmarks in their lives. He also wants them to see how they might help foretell what’s still to come.

In a sneak peak for “Girl Meets Goodbye,” it was revealed that Topanga (Danielle Fishel) has been offered a job in London. Her daughter, Riley, could not help but calculate the distance from her New York bestie Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

Riley downplays the idea that it should be the end for Riley and Maya. But her best friend reminds her that their third friend has been out of their lives since she has moved across the street.

“Girl Meets World” finale is believed to be a big send-off. It will showcase the series’ largest reunion of “Boy Meets World” cast members yet but there is a chance that it’s not the last time for fans to see the gang.

Series creator Michael Jacobs recently revealed that “there are talks underway” for the show to be picked up by another network or streaming service. However, the show’s return after “Girl Meets Goodbye” is something that may not happen so soon, with Jacobs stressing that conversations are at the “very beginning stages.”

Per Perez Hilton, Jacobs is already in talks with Netflix for a potential season 4 revival. “Girl Meets World” on Netflix, however, is not yet officially confirmed.

“Girl Meets Goodbye” is slated to air on Jan. 20 in the US. Air date for the last episode is expected to be on the same day in Australia on Disney Channel.
