‘Girl Meets World’ actor Corey Fogelmanis joins award-winning off-Broadway production

“Girl Meets World” actor Corey Fogelmanis (Farkle Minkus) now has a new project after the show aired its final episode titled “Girl Meets Goodbye” on Disney Channel. Although the series has now come to a close in its home channel, fans will not miss Fogelmanis long as he is bound to star in an award-winning off-Broadway production called “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead.”
The actor has recently opened up about his new project and his role. He revealed that he will play a role named Van, a teenage version of Linus who has become a full-time stoner.
Fogelmanis has also teased his fans about what to expect from the play. He said that the story is actually based on the Peanuts characters. The characters are depicted as dysfunctional teenagers experiencing dynamic changes as they grow up.
Taking on his new project is something that excites Fogelmanis. For him, it feels wonderful to be back on stage and it has been creatively satisfying to spend time in getting to know more of his character. “I’m excited for the fans to see a different side of me and hopefully take something positive away from the story we get to share,” he told Just Jared Jr.
Fogelmanis’ role as Farkle in “Girl Meets World” is one of the main characters in the show. His parents are Stuart Minkus (Lee Norris) and Jennifer Bassett (Kristanna Loken) from “Boy Meets World.” He is a friend of Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter).
Farkle exhibits both personality traits of his parents. Just like his father, he is a genius. As for his good confidence, he got it from his mother. He is attached to and protective of his friends. He said they love them equally.
Apart from “Girl Meets World,” the actor has also starred in other television shows like “I Didn't Do It,” “The Maiden and the Princess,” “Pilot,” “House of Lies” among others. He was also part of the production of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell at the Pasadena Playhouse in Southern California.
Meanwhile, “Girl Meets World” lead actress Matthews has been cast in an upcoming movie “A Wrinkle in Time.” The film is inspired by a 1963 novel of the same name by Madeleine L’Engle.
“Girl Meets World” has aired in Australia through Disney Channel. There are reports that the show may be picked up by a different network, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
