“Genshin Impact” leakers seemingly released details regarding Yae Miko’s abilities shortly after official splash art of the character was released by the developers on social media.

The head priestess of the Narukami Shrine has become one of “Genshin Impact’s” most anticipated characters ever since she was introduced to the game due to her smug personality, interesting design and the possibility of her being “Genshin Impact’s” first five-star Electro Catalyst user. The latter already seems to be the case, as leakers suggested she’ll be coming with feisty Electro abilities and her own catalyst.

Players from the Chinese “Genshin Impact” beta test branch shared some insider information regarding Yae Miko’s abilities to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord server, where most of the community’s known leakers congregate.

Yae Miko Elemental Skill

According to the leak by user Ubatcha, Yae’s abilities will focus on dealing damage along with constant Electro application via Lethal Sakuras, which sound like Electro-based constructs similar to Albedo’s Solar Isotomas.

Tapping Yae’s Elemental Skill causes her to move forward while leaving behind a Lethal Sakura, which will periodically hit one nearby enemy with lightning. Yae can lay three Lethal Sakuras at once, which can be increased up to five upon reaching C5.

The damage of each Sakura will increase based on the total amount of Sakuras on the field.

Yae Miko Elemental Burst

Upon casting her Burst ability, Yae will transform all nearby Sakuras into a Tenko Thunderstrike, calling down a powerful lightning bolt that deals Electro damage over an area. Each Sakura consumed by this ability generates an additional Tenko Thunderstrike for even more damage.

Should these leaked abilities prove accurate, then Yae will essentially be a more mobile version of Lisa. Both have AoE and off-field Electro abilities, though Lisa sacrifices mobility for bigger damage numbers.

It’s also worth noting that Yae gains CRIT Rate as her Ascension bonus and gets a damage bonus based on her Elemental Mastery stat upon reaching a certain level, solidifying her role as a DPS. However, this could still change depending on how beta testing results turn out.

Yae Miko is expected to be officially revealed later this month.
