The death of the beloved Whitney Houston on February 11, 2011 shocked the whole musical industry. The "Greatest Love of All" singer was found dead in the bathtub of Suite 434 in The Beverly Hilton hotel in California. The singer was supposed to attend the pre-Grammy awards party in the same place. The coroner assigned to Houston's death ruled that the singer died due to accidental drug overdose. Traces of cocaine were seen in the singer's system, along with other drugs such as Xanax, marijuana, Benadryl, and Flexeril.

It has been three years since the actress' demise but news about the singer have recently surfaced. According to E!Online, a Beverly HIlls police sergeant Brian Weir is filing a case against the city due to the harrassment he has received after divulging the mishandling of Whitney Houston's body by a colleague.

The team that was sent to retrieve the singer's body basically arrived at the unit and proceeded to look under the sheet that had been covering Houston's body-thereby potentially contaminating the scene. The cop that was charged for mishandling allegedly made inappropriate comments about Houston's cadaver.

According to Weir's lawsuit, his colleague, Terry Nutall, "for no legitimate law enforcement inquiry, investigative or other proper and legal purpose," notioned to pull down the sheet that covered Houston's body, thereby exposing the singer down to her pubic region. Nutall made inappropriate remarks about Houston's body such as "she looked attractive for a woman of her age and current state" and "damn, she's still looking good, huh?"

After bringing to the fore the inappropriate behavior of Nutall, Weir claims that he was allegedly harassed by the department by denying him promotions to other positions, bonuses and special pay, and employment supervisory duties and responsibilities.

According to E!Online, Weir, the police officer who stood up against the desecration of Whitney Houston's body, is seeking "actual, consequential and incidental losses, including and not limited to medical expenses and hits to his pensions; general damages, injunctive relief restoring him to SWAT positions and K09 units as well as a reimbursement of attorney fees and costs of filing the suit."
