Before Lea Michele went public with Cory Monteith, the "Glee" star had dated a fellow co-star on set. According to a report by Perez Hilton, Michele had apparently dated Matthew Morrison during the initial taping of the TV show.

The brunette beauty confessed about dating Matthew Morrison in her new book "Brunette Ambition" by saying:

"When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenner Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."

Soon after, Lea Michele began dating Cory Monteith, who became her longtime beau before he succumbed to an untimely death in 2013. Monteith died due to a "drug mix toxicity" where traces of heroin and alcohol was found in his system. The distraught Lea Michele has since been trying to deal with the painful death of her longtime fiancé. On the other hand, Matthew Morrison is headed for the altar with his girlfriend Renee Puente.

Meanwhile, despite the Lea Michele's mourning for Cory Monteith, the brunette beauty has not been spared from controversies that have ensued on the "Glee" set.

It can be remembered that Lea Michele was recently embroiled in a feud between Naya Rivera. Previously reported on IBTimes, Naya Rivera was allegedly ticked off by Lea Michele's diva antics-which sent the former to tell off the brunette beauty to the producers.

Cheating issues between Big Sean and Lea Michele have also cropped up-prompting Naya Rivera to severe her ties with her "Glee" co-star. Naya Rivera has been allegedly kicked off from the "Glee" set due to Lea Michele. The brunette beauty has refused to comment about the tension between her co-star Naya Rivera.

Lea Michele has, however, maintained a no-dating stance as she is still trying to cope with the loss of her boyfriend Cory Monteith.
