Blake Shelton is happy and satisfied with his life with Gwen Stefani.

Shelton, 45, and Stefani, 51, dated for five years before they tied the knot on July 3. Prior to the "Hollaback Girl" singer, Shelton was already married twice. The country singer was previously married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006, and to Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.

Although Stefani is Shelton's third wife, their relationship is reportedly "different" from Shelton's exes. The "God Gave Me You" crooner feels more secure this time.

"He does feel different in this relationship," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "Blake is much more secure with Gwen. He can trust her, and there is a mutual level of respect."

The insider added that both are very busy with their respective careers. However, they make sure to not be apart from each other longer than two weeks.

"It was something Blake insisted on," the source added. "They also deal with problems as soon as they surface. Nothing lingers."

Shelton and Stefani's friend Carson Daly, who officiated their wedding, is also rooting for them. In an episode of "Today" after the celebrity couple's wedding, he said that the bride and groom are an "unlikely pair" but they work well together.

"They’re like if you pair delicious fried chicken with a glass of champagne. On paper and on the menu it doesn’t seem to work, but it works. It’s comfort food with class. And everybody roots for that," he said.

Several celebrities were not invited to Shelton and Stefani's wedding. The couple wanted their big day to be intimate, simple and fun. Daly summed up the whole event saying that it reflected the bride and groom's personalities perfectly.

"The best way to describe it is it was perfectly them — the whole weekend and the marriage itself," he said. "It was as elegant and refined and cool as Gwen is, and it was as country and down-home and fun as Blake is."

The pair performed at the "CMA Summer Jam," which aired on ABC last week. In an interview ahead of the show's airing, the "Happy Anywhere" singer gushed over his married life with Stefani.

"Married life so far is… it's incredible," he told the TV show "People." "I mean, it's everything that it already was, which was awesome. She just can't get away from me now."
