'The Blacklist' season 3 finale spoilers: James Spader hints at an ending that's 'nuts' [Watch]

On Mar. 30, James Spader appeared on “The Tonight Show” to share some details about the last few episodes of “The Blacklist” Season 3 with host Jimmy Fallon.

The third season of “The Blacklist” went on a one-month break and will air again on Apr. 7, 2016. According to Spader, who plays Red in the series, fans should not miss the next episodes, especially the “crazy” ending.

Spader told Fallon that episodes 17 and 18 are going to be “nuts.”Spader said that they are currently shooting episode 21. Any viewer who has the slightest interest in the show, including those who only saw the pilot and stopped watching, will definitely be thrilled about the next two episodes, which are connected.

“I must say, anybody who has ever had any interest, even in the smallest degree, in the show, even if one saw the pilot and sort of abandoned it from that point, if anyone has ever had any passing interest in the show, boy, [episodes] 17 and 18 are so crazy,” said Spader.

Spader also presented a video clip from episode 17, which was allegedly the only video that they could show without giving important details. He said that it would not serve as a spoiler on the plot of the upcoming episode. The clip showed Red trying to discourage Liz (Megan Boone) from marrying Tom (Ryan Eggold). Liz disagreed, saying that she is attempting to build a life with the father of her child.

In the promo episode, there were scenes of Liz and Tom in their wedding attire, the church, Red and some men wielding high-powered guns, Tom getting rid of a dead body, and Liz crying. The caption “You’re invited to a Red Wedding,” also appeared, giving reference to the famous bloody wedding in “Game of Thrones.”

The next episode, titled “Mr. Solomon,” will also showcase the return of Red’s old nemesis. There will expectedly be a lot of bloodshed and violence in the next two episodes.

“The Blacklist” Season 3 Episode 17 will air on Apr. 7 on NBC. More updates and details are expected soon.
