Beyonce will front Coachella 2017 on April 14 and 21, when the crowd gathers at Palm Springs, California. It will be Queen Bey’s first scheduled gig this year after being busy with her “Lemonade” road tour last year.

Queen Bey can be recalled performing with husband Jay-Z at Coachella 2010 with their rendition of “Forever Young.” At Coachella 2014, Bey also made a surprise appearance during the set of sister Solange on stage. They danced at the end of "Losing You".

Beyonce fans from the land down under are still hoping that her “Lemonade” tour will reach the country, and that her Coachella performance isn’t a one-off. The last time that she had a concert tour in Australia was in 2013.

News.com.au said that several Australian bands are geared up to perform in California this year. The list includes Empire of the Sun, the reformed Melbourne band The Avalanches, plus Jagwar Ma, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Pond, What So Not and Anna Lunoe. Kiwi’s Lorde and Broods are also scheduled to perform per the publication.

International guests will also perform at the iconic festival, including the xx, Justice, Bon Iver, Hans Zimmer, Royksopp, Father John Misty, Future, Future Islands and others. British band New Order is the “oldest” band on the lineup.

Other headliners for this year’s festival are UK band Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. Consequence Of Sound claims that insider sources say that the together with Beyonce, the UK bands will be headlining this year's Coachella.

Lamar will be headlining Coachella for the first time. For Radiohead, however, this marks their third year after playing in 2004 and 2012. Radiohead also had a short concert tour in Australia in 2012.

The festival will also be having a “heritage” headliner after 2016’s “Oldchella” with Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Roger Waters. Fans can secure their tickets at Coachella.com.
