The new week of "Bachelor Australia" Season 2 opens with eight girls. Seven girls from the original twenty-four girls and one girl from the new batch of six girls are still in the competition to win Blake Garvey's heart and the final red rose.

The last week's episodes saw the exit of Amber, Mary and Rachel. Amber kept waiting for her chance to go on a single date with Blake, but Blake did not see a possibility of him falling in love with her. He said goodbye to her, without putting her through another rose ceremony. Rachel and Mary were the last two girls standing in episode 12. These two new girls also did not get a chance to know more about Blake. The bachelor also did not show much interest in them. He may already have zeroed in on a couple of girls who have all the qualities to be his life's potential partner. Jessica seems to be the front-runner at the beginning of week seven.

Jessica and Blake seem to have great chemistry going and there is spark, as well. She went on a single date with Blake in the previous episode and this week on the group date, she and Blake are set to come closer and the girls are not going to like that. The preview of the episode indicates that there is a likely to be a repeat of the carousel episode. But, Blake and Jessica will think twice before kissing each other, again, on a group date.

The group date is at one of the most haunting places in Australia. According to "The Bachelor Australia" Twitter page, "A ghostly group date rocks the mansion tonight, watch if you dare!"

Lisa goes on a single date with Blake on Wednesday, while Louise gets the single date card in the Thursday night episode. The preview reveals that Sam, too, gets to spend alone time with Blake and seems to be confessing her feelings to Blake.

And, at a masquerade party, the stakes are higher than before, as dreams are going to get shattered, according to the preview for this week. Meanwhile, there is medical emergency as well in the episode, as one of the girls is taken to hospital

Chantal, Lauren, Laurina, Sam, Zoe, Lisa, Louise, Jessica are the eight girls still left in the competition.
